Edea's Concerns is the 169th magazine chapter of Jung-man Cho's Witch Hunter.
A year passes since Tasha Godspell became Edea Florence's pupil. Edea frets that time is passing too quickly and at Tasha's rate of growth he will soon leave her to save his sister. Edea struggles to understand the feelings she has for Tasha and tries to find the courage to ask him if he'll leave once his objective is complete.
Edea notices how fast time passes, her probation has come to an end, and the only things which have changed are Tasha coming into her life and new emotions she has yet to control. A year of training Tasha passes and it is winter once again. Edea paces around her cellar/basement concerned over Tasha's rate of growth. He has already achieved B-Class power and Edea worries if she were to give him anti-witch guns he may reach A-Class. Edea doesn't want Tasha to become stronger just so he can leave her to find his sister. She realizes as his Master she should be happy for his growth and shelp him reach his dreams. A second later she second guesses herself since he'll leave to stay with his family. As she tries to deal with her confusing emotions she turns to Halloween. Edea tells the lifeless doll that it's Tasha's graduation gift. She takes a look at the three seals on the doll and promises to remove the first one when Tasha graduates. More time passes and Edea is still unsure of the situation. Tasha notices something is bothering Edea and asks. Edea decides now would be a good time to ask Tasha himself what he plans to do after he saves Aria but she cannot bring herself to say the words. Worried about his answer Edea comes to realize she is scared, a feeling she has never had before. Edea questions her new emotions such as; loneliness, jealousy, bitterness, and anger, all emotions she has learned through Tasha. Edea never wanted to experience such negative emotions since they make her suffer but still she wants Tasha to stay by her side. The chapter ends with Edea finally asking Tasha if he will leave her for his sister.
